Our proposal for a housing complex embraces a lateral format that fosters communal living and encourages social interaction among residents. Departing from the conventional unfriendliness often associated with vertical housing, our design prioritizes creating spaces that facilitate cross-pollination and connections between residents, promoting a sense of community and shared experiences.
By adopting a lateral format, our housing complex reimagines the traditional vertical model, allowing for more open and interconnected living spaces. This layout encourages residents to engage with one another, fostering social bonds and a sense of belonging.
We emphasize the importance of cross-pollination, where different individuals and groups come together, interact, and exchange ideas. Our design intentionally juxtaposes connections that are not typically considered, creating opportunities for serendipitous encounters and enhancing the overall vibrancy of the community.
Through thoughtful spatial planning and design, we create shared spaces that facilitate social interaction. These areas may include communal gathering spaces, recreational facilities, gardens, or shared amenities that encourage residents to come together, share experiences, and build relationships.
Our housing complex proposal aims to break down barriers and promote a sense of togetherness. By embracing a lateral format and encouraging cross-pollination, we create an environment where residents can thrive, interact, and form lasting connections.
